Kylian Mbappe is leaving PSG, that was certain. Only his official announcement was pending. That too has been given Friday (11 May 2024) by the French star.

He confirmed in a video posted on social media that it was his last season with PSG.

Sunday's match against Brest will be his final match in a PSG jersey.

Mbappe said on social media, 'I want to let you know, this was my last season with PSG. I'm not extending my contract anymore, this journey is ending in a few weeks. My last match will be played at the Parc des Princes.'

In 2017, Mbappe joined PSG from Monaco. Over seven years, this World Cup-winning forward has performed consistently as a PSG player. He has enriched his own vault with goals scored and assisted.

Mbappe has scored 255 goals in 306 matches for PSG. He has also scored 108 goals as a forward.

In the ongoing season, PSG has already won the league. Last season they won their tenth league title. Mbappe has won it six times. Mbappe expressed his desire to leave PSG as early as February. Despite winning all other trophies as a PSG player, Mbappe has not won the Champions League.

Most recently, on May 9th, PSG was eliminated from the Champions League semifinals by Borussia Dortmund.

Mbappe's highest success in the Champions League was playing the final in the 2019-20 season.

In the video, Mbappe did not say where he was going. However, it is almost certain that Mbappe is going to Real Madrid. This is also only heard from him.
