At first, Liverpool absorbed the onslaught of attack after falling behind, then turned the tide of aggression to book a 2-0 victory. They defeated Brighton & Hove Albion, returning to the path of victory in the Premier League under the helm of Jurgen Klopp.

With a 2-1 goal victory at Anfield on Sunday, Liverpool has now risen to the top of the league table.

After Daniel Welbeck's attempt to overtake was matched by Luis Diaz's equalizer, the goal-signaling goal in the second half was scored by Mohamed Salah.

In the ninth minute, Salah had an opportunity but his shot from inside the box went wide. Another shot from the Egyptian forward in the 20th minute also missed the target.

In the 27th minute, Liverpool equalized. Salah couldn't clear the corner kick, but a ball sent in by Diaz from the right found its way past their defender's foot.

In the 32nd minute, Salah had another chance. His shot from the left foot was saved by the goalkeeper. Five minutes later, Nunes' attempt from close range also failed.

Even in the second half, Liverpool maintained dominance in the attack. In the 66th minute, Salah put his team ahead. Controlling a pass from Alexis Mac Allister in the box, he sent a shot past the goalkeeper with his left foot.
