Fariha Islam Trisna became the first and third woman bowler among ICC full member nations to take two hat-tricks in women's T20 Internationals.

The Bangladesh left-arm pacer completed the second hat-trick of her career by dismissing Ellyse Perry, Sophie Molineux, and Beth Mooney in the last over of the second match of the series against Australia today in Mirpur Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium.

Fariha had taken a hat-trick on her debut T20I during the 2022 Asia Cup game against Malaysia in Sylhet.

Today the pacer bagged Ellyse Perry, Sophie Molineux and Beth Mooney off the last three deliveries of the innings to finish with four for 19 in four overs as Australia posted 161 for eight.

Apart from Fariha, only Fahima Khatun has a hat-trick for Bangladesh. Hong Kong's Kary Chan and Uganda's Consylate Aweko Numungu are the two other cricketers two bag two T20I hat-tricks.
