The apparently endless football debate on who is the ‘Greatest of All Time’ or G.O.A.T, once again picked up heat after Cristiano Ronaldo scored twice stunning hat-tricks on Saturday and Tuesday leading his Saudi football club Al Nassr to victory.

The Portuguese superstar achieves back to back hat-tricks against Al Tai and Abha.

Adding another milestone to his impressive tally, Ronaldo also increased the goal-difference with his arch-rival Lionel Messi in the number of hat-tricks scored.

Ronaldo now has 65 career hat-tricks, whereas Messi, who plays for American club Inter Miami, has done it on 57 occasions. The Argentine has performed impressively for his new club and has time to score seven more hat-tricks to tie with Ronaldo.

But it is still a long road and doesn’t look easy for ‘La Pulga’ who hasn’t bagged a hat-trick since March 28, 2023, when Argentina won 7-0 over Curacao in an international friendly.

Meanwhile, Ronaldo has scored more hat-tricks after turning 30 than before that. With today's hat-trick, Ronaldo's total hat-tricks in professional football have reached 65. After the age of 30, this is his 35th hat-trick.

After surpassing the mark of thirty, Lionel Messi has scored 6 hat-tricks, Luis Suarez and Karim Benzema have scored 5 each, and Robert Lewandowski has scored 3 hat-tricks.

With today's hat-trick in Saudi Arabian club football, Ronaldo has scored 57 goals; his career goal tally for clubs now stands at 757; collectively, this is Ronaldo's 885th goal in his senior career.

In the current season, Ronaldo has played 24 matches and scored 29 goals alongside 11 assists, becoming the top goal scorer in the Saudi Pro League, four more than Al Hilal striker Aleksander Mitrovic, who has been ruled out of action for the next six weeks after he sustained a hamstring injury in the Roshn Saudi League over the weekend.

Messi also started the year on a strong foot, with five goals but he has been out for a few weeks now after he picked up a hamstring injury.
