The Rotary Club of Sreemangal, Moulvibazar, organized a merit scholarship distribution program for students.

On Thursday (July 3), the event was held at the Sreemangal Rotary Club premises, with Harun Ur Rashid, Executive Editor of Ekushey Television, as the chief guest.

Chaired by Mashiur Rahman Ripon, President of the Rotary Club of Sreemangal, the event featured speeches from distinguished guests, including senior Rotarian Sirajul Islam Chowdhury, Dr. Satyakam Chakraborty, Rotarian Bikul Chakraborty, Head Teacher of Paul Harris Rotary High School Dil Afroz Begum, Head Teacher of Rana High School and College Nurul Haque, Senior Teacher Anjan Deb, Rotarian Abdul Hamid, Moulvibazar Staff Reporter of RTV Choudhury Bhaskar Hom, Moulvibazar Correspondent of My TV Sanjay Kumar De, Khasi indigenous leader Fila Patmi, and President of the Tea Community Indigenous Front Parimal Singh Baraik.

During the event, 10 students from grades one to ten of Paul Harris Rotary High School were awarded cash scholarships and certificates by the guests.

In his speech, the chief guest, Harun Ur Rashid, said, "There is nothing more remarkable than individuals or organizations contributing to the field of education. The Rotary Club of Sreemangal is doing this commendable work. Those associated with this institution nurture humanity in their hearts. Their thoughts and actions are focused on the development of marginalized communities and eliminating societal disparities.
