The newly elected Member of Parliament for the Moulvibazar-1 (Barlekha-Juri) constituency, Nasir Uddin Ahmed Mithu, held a views-exchange meeting with upazila-level government officials, public representatives, and distinguished citizens.

The meeting was held on Monday (February 23) at noon in the conference room of the Juri Upazila Parishad. It was chaired by Juri Upazila Nirbahi Officer (UNO) Md. Maruf Dastegir.

Speaking as the chief guest, MP Nasir Uddin Ahmed Mithu said that coordination between the administration and elected representatives is crucial to accelerating development activities after the election. He emphasized the swift implementation of ongoing development projects in Barlekha and Juri upazilas, improvement of education and healthcare standards, enhancement of communication systems, and simplification of public services.

He further stated that everyone must work with sincerity and responsibility to meet the expectations of the people. Regardless of political affiliation, the overall development of the area will be his priority.

Officials from various departments of the upazila administration, local public representatives, journalists, and distinguished community members attended the meeting.

Participants shared their opinions and proposals and called for coordinated initiatives to address local issues. The meeting concluded with discussions on development plans and future action strategies for the area.
