The meeting further emphasised the importance of ensuring the personal safety of police personnel during operations, protecting government assets, and strictly complying with relevant laws, rules, and operational procedures while carrying out official duties.
During the two-day meeting, officials reviewed the overall crime situation for May 2026, progress in executing arrest warrants against convicted fugitives, the status of case investigations, court verdicts, conviction rates, and several recent significant incidents.
The Police Headquarters also issued a series of operational guidelines aimed at making field-level policing more dynamic, service-oriented, and responsive to public needs.
